Well, it's all happening in the Serengeti, you'll be pleased to hear. The rains have returned and with them, the wildebeest have come flooding back into Ndutu. Our guides report that they're everywhere, all over the place, wall-to-wall wildebeest...totally amazing and full, full, full. Which is just the way we like it frankly. If you want specifics, you'll find herds around Naabi / Ndutu /Triangle / Masek and the plains. They will soon head in the direction to Nduara as there has been substantial rain there recently.

Migration Movement Update
In the last days the majority of the migration was back in the Ndutu area with their calves. Thousands of wildebeest and zebra are also around Ubuntu South. Olakira guests are perfectly placed driving towards Ubuntu location (Ubuntu closed for the season this week).
Naboisho Camp in Kenya reported thousands of wildebeest (image) and zebra arriving from the Loita Plains, filling the grassland plains and providing guests with perfect migration images. These herds do not normally reach the Reserve and are confined to conservancies to north of the Mara.

The Migration Movement Update!
The bulk of the herds are spread out between Kusini and the Hidden Valley, with more of them seen towards the Serengeti Side. However, rain in the Ndutu Area has meant that they have changed direction again and heading back to NCAA. There is a lot of cat activity due to the fact that the calving season has started early this year and clients are getting some excellent sightings.

The Migration Movement Update!
The wildebeest are currently quite dispersed due to the rains in both Maasai Mara and Serengeti National Park.
Clients have had great sightings at Mara River with various river crossings as well as the rhino and 2 leopards. Nevertheless, the migration is also as far down as Lobo already and clients are seeing wildebeest in their hundreds. Soon they will be in the Seronera Valley!
